| Its called the AARP Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP).
This program helps low income, older job seekers obtain the skills and work experience
needed to find employment. It's a hand up, not a hand out. ��� Keep reading to find out how this program might help you or someone you know enter or reenter the workforce. Best of all, this long-standing program is available free of charge. �� If you are eligible, AARP SCSEP can place you in a temporary, part-time work-training assignment - typically 20 hours a week earning at least the minimum wage. you could be assigned to a public or non-profit community organization such as a senior center, social or public service agency, government agency, or an educational institution. |
